How do I Get There?

By Road / Parking:


TRAVELING BY ROAD / WALKING: SAT NAV – FY1 4BJ (No parking on the festival site)

Parking for Cars, Mini Buses & Coaches is on central car park behind the Blackpool Sealife Centre. There are also a number of long stay car parks on Caunce Street & between Topping Street & King Street (The Old Syndicate site !)

Central Parking is a short walk away from the festival site. There is also parking at Central & South car parks close to Blackpool Football Club & Blackpool South Train Station. There is a Taxi Rank located on the bridge at Blackpool South Station on Waterloo Road. Please refrain from parking in any of the surrounding roads as its a 2 Hour Maximum stay.

Traveling by Rail

The nearest station is Blackpool North, with frequent trains from Preston and easier access for Taxi’s. The Festival site is a 5 minute walk from Blackpool North down Talbot Road and onto the Promenade at North PieTraveling

Traveling by Air:

The Nearest Airports are Manchester & Liverpool. There are direct Trains running from Manchester Airport to Blackpool North

Event Times:

Friday: 3pm – 11pm (No Last Admission)

Saturday: 12pm – 11pm (Last admission 6pm)

Sunday: 12pm – 7pm (Last Entry 4pm)

Baby Changing & Feeding:

We are a family friendly organisation. Both Baby Changing & feeding areas will be provided. If you choose not to use the baby feeding area and would rather feed your baby onsite, that’s also OK. We are breast feeding friendly.

Drug & Search Policy:

Our Party Festival operates a ZERO POLICY towards drug use. Anyone suspected of having taken drugs or attempting to bring drugs or illegal substances onto the site will be detained and handed over to the Police.

We will be operating random searches to include Sniffer Dogs & metal detectors in order to ensure a safe event and to ensure that no weapons are brought into the site.

Please note that the use of Nitrous Oxide or similar gas’s is also prohibited.

Age Restrictions:


These events are strictly Over 18’s only

You may be asked for ID at the bars to prove you are over 18 years of age. A check 25 policy will be in operation at all bars. If you look under 25, you may be asked for ID. Anyone caught drinking under age or without relevant ID may be removed from the event.


This is an all ages event

Children under 16 must be accompanied by a guardian over 25. If a child under 16 is in your care and caught drinking alcohol, you and the child will be removed from the Event.

Children must not be left in any of the festival areas alone at any time.


Failure to follow any of the Festival Rules and/or Terms and Conditions or behaving in a manner deemed unsociable or potentially dangerous will result in you being removed from the Event without refund. Management may prosecute anyone found to be breaking the law.

Litter – there are many bins provided at the event, please place all litter in the bins provided. Veolia, our recycling partner have very kindly supplied us with recycling bins and waste disposal, please use them where you can.

Food & Drink:

Only Food & Drink purchased on the site may be consumed. There is a food village & we operate licensed bars which will include water & soft drinks.

We will confiscate any Food & Drink at the search area and this will be disposed of. Baby food WILL be allowed on the site,

Wheelchair / Disabled Access:

We are a ‘hard floor’ festival with no major raised areas or grass so very accessible for people with disabilities or in wheelchairs. we also have separate disabled toilets on site.

Medical Services:

Our Medical team will be operating a Safety Zone within the Festival Site. They are there to deal with any and all emergency and non-emergency situations.

The Safety Zone will be clearly signed and Close to the Entrance / Exit.

Road Safety:

The Festival Site is located adjacent to a busy highway & Tram Tracks, but there are a number of safe crossing points. Please be aware that if you attempt to cross the Tram Tracks & Road away from the crossing points you do so at your own risk.

Dress Code:

We are very relaxed about this with it being a family day however we advise you  dress to suit the weather conditions on the day.

Please be aware we are located by the sea front so bringing light jackets/jumpers/hoodies are advised. We are hard floored site throughout so no need for wellies J

Weather Conditions:

Naturally we pray to the Sun God for weeks before, but mother nature may not be kind to us, however all, but one of our arena’s are within Marquees so nice and dry whilst you party. The Bar Area is also under cover and luckily the land is very firm even in very wet conditions, so if its forecast rain please ensure you have something to keep you dry. You don’t need wellies !! If it gets very windy / inclement conditions we have enough capacity in all our covered arenas to keep you dry !!

Pass Outs / Cash machines / Facilities:

Unfortunately due to capacity constraints we cannot offer any stamps / wristbands for entry and re-entry. The site has all amenities you would need to stay within the site including: MOBILE CASH MACHINES,

FOOD VILLAGE, TOILETS, CHILL ZONES & MERCHANDISE STALLS (including Clothing for inclement weather conditions)

Should you wish to leave the site and come back you would need to purchase another entry ticket from the Box Office located adjacent to the Entrance.


There will be a good ratio of Male & Female Toilet Facilities. Please treat them with respect for your fellow partygoers as damage or blockages may not always be dealt with quickly. We will have more Toilets on site than last year’s event to cope with numbers on site.

Photos & Filming:

Please be aware we will have professional, official festival photographers and videographers on site for Party on Prom promotional use post event. If you don’t wish to be filmed or have your photo taken please let our crew know.

Emergency Procedures:

Please listen and take note of any emergency announcements that could happen at any point in the duration of the event.

There are several emergency exits that lead on to all areas of the promenade facing to the North & South for a safe evacuation of the festival site. Please do not run in the event of a full evacuation.

Dispersal Policy:

When the event finishes at 7pm please leave the festival site as quietly as possible. Naturally there are businesses & hotels close to the area of the site and in order for us to make this an annual event we need to ensure that anyone attending the festival leaves as quickly and quietly as possible.

Taxi Pick up will be located along the promenade next to the Tower & inland on Church Street (Opposite Nandos) Market Street (opposite Revolution) Talbot Road (Opposite Home & HQ) & Queen Street (opposite Walkabout) Coach & Mini Bus pick up will be located to the South of the site on the car parking area opposite Central Drive.

Force Majeure:

In the event of a Force Majeure.

A Force Majeure is a circumstance that is beyond the control of the event management team at Party On The Prom. This could include, but is not limited to, high winds (50 MPH is deemed unsafe), floods, fires, or anything that could potentially put visitors, stall holders and staff in danger.

If anything of the sort does happen, Party On The Prom (Blackpool Festival), have the right to close the site if it becomes unusable and most of all unsafe and cannot be held responsible for the closure.
